Traffic along US 30 West bound was backed up late Thursday morning, near lunch time, after a semi caught on fire.
The Ashland Post of the Highway Patrol told WMAN News, the driver, from California, was not injured in the incident, which happened around 10:30 am, near Township Road 1255.
ODOT was on scene to help with the clean-up of the right lane and shoulder area.
A trooper said, the fire started due to something with the drive wheels of the semi-truck.
