All walks will start at the Marvin Memorial Library Lobby.(Unless otherwise specified.)
Routes and speakers will vary.
These walks will be at a conversational pace.
Meeting Location & Additional Notes:
We will meet at Marvin Memorial Library Lobby. Bring water bottle and wear comfortable shoes!

Library Walk & Talk Locations
(Astrick ** Means we meet at the location.)
June 3rd – Introduction – We will fill out paperwork and walk around town for 30 minutes.
June 10th – Merchant Marine Monument – We will walk to the Merchant Marine Monument downtown Shelby.
**June 17th – Wetlands – We will meet at the Resevoire on London East Road and walk the wetlands with Kyle Bailey.
June 24th – St. Mark’s Episcopal Church – We will walk to the church where Dale Traven will talk to us about the Bicycle shop and church history.
July 1st – Fun Walk – We will walk around town and talk about whatever is on your mind.
July 8th – Tour the Shelby Bicycles on display downtown.
July 15th – Shelby YMCA – We will walk to the Shelby YMCA and learn about what they have to offer the Shelby Community.
July 22nd – Monarch Butterfly – Kyle Bailey will talk to us about the areas Monarch Butterfly population.
July 29th – New Fire Station with Beth Conrad, Health Department.
**August 5th – Meet at the Oakland Cemetery to walk the cemetery.
August 12th –Seltzer Park – We will have Kyle Bailey teach us about the flowers and trees of the area.
August 19th –
August 26th – Walk to West Park Drive with Beth Conrad.
