Need Some Money? I Know Of A Guy!

Try to wrap your brain around this… Business Insider reports Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon.com, is now worth more than Nike, McDonald's and Costco. Like ... the whole companies. He’s now worth $186 billion, which is also worth more than IBM, Starbucks and Target. And -- let's not forget -- that he's divorced. He gave a big chunk of change to his ex-wife. Remarkable.

I've always wondered what would happen if a finely crafted letter asking someone of Bezos' wealth for a sizeable monetary gift was sent by someone...say...me. Would my request be granted? Would he even see the letter? Does the dedication to the use of his website by a few members of my family grant me any special consideration? Certainly he could spare it. Would I have to go through some sort of screening process, character analysis, credit check, and show proof of need? Or would the fact that I even had the nerve to ask impress him so much he would fork over the cash and say... "Sir, since you asked, I'd be happy to give you $200,000. No Strings Attached! Just don't tell your wife. If you were to get divorced she'd want a huge chunk of that!" Oh well, I guy can dream can't he?
