Emmylou Harris And The "Western Edge" Of Country Honored At New Exhibit

The Country Music Hall of Fame unveils the new exhibit Western Edge: The Roots and Reverberations of Los Angeles Country-Rock today (Friday).The display honors country rock influences of the '60s and '70s Among the artist who's works and artifacts will be on display is Emmylou Harris. Harris, in her over 50 year career, became a Grand Ole Opry member in 1992, is already a Hall of Famer (2008) and has 14 Grammys to her credit plus the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Linda Ronstadt, already in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and a Kennedy Center Honoree joins Harris in the new display. Along with fellow Rock Hall members Ricky Nelson and The Byrds. Also honored in the "Western Edge" display are The Flying Burrito Brothers, Dwight Yoakam, The Blasters, Los Lobos and many more.

The exhibit runs through May 2025.
