It's National Spouses Day, a day to show appreciation for your spouse. It's something I try to do every day. It doesn't hurt to tell your spouse how much he (or she) is appreciated, loved and worthy of all the love and attention by the family. We do what we can to create a teamwork environment around the house. There are times, I'll admit, I find myself not doing my share and I have to get off my butt and pick up the slack. She deserves to have more time to herself and spend less time taking care of me.
I do treasure the fact she's my spouse, for over 26 years and counting. I'm proud of her. She is the reason for the smile on my face. The reason I get up every morning and come home every night.
I'm very lucky to have Kelly as my spouse!
