13th ANNUAL KINGWOOD 5K RUN AND WALK ON JUNE 10

MANSFIELD, Ohio (May 3, 2023)    The Kingwood 5K Run and Walk will be held on Saturday, June 10th with the race starting at 9:00am in front of the Kingwood Hall mansion. The chip-timed 5K will allow participants to enjoy a beautiful course within Kingwood’s gardens and along the B&O bike trail. The 5K is open to all abilities and ages. Check-in and registration begin at 7:45am.

Registration is $25 and can be completed online at ohioraceday.com or by mail to Doug Heestand, 431 Edgewood Road, Mansfield OH 44907. Questions may be sent to heest97@hotmail.com. To be guaranteed an official race shirt, register by May 31st. Walk-up registration is $30 on race day.

Awards will be presented in the Courtyard following the race to the overall female, overall male, and for the top three finishers in age groups ranging from 9 years and under, to 70 years and older. Race participants receive free admission to the Gardens for the day.

The 5K benefits Kingwood’s programs and supports its mission. The Kingwood 5K is presented by OhioHealth and is also supported by Ohio Race Day, Mansfield Area YMCA Running Club, Contact Industries, TE Connectivity, John M. Stiefel DDS, Mid-Ohio Auto Repair, Rancho Fiesta, Clip Joint Barber Shop, North Central State College, Buehler’s Fresh Food and Culligan Quality Water of North Central Ohio.

Kingwood Center Gardens is an exquisite garden estate on 47 acres in Mansfield, OH that once was the home of the innovative industrialist, Charles Kelley King.
