The gymnasium at Malabar Intermediate School will get an upgrade this summer. $275,000 worth of repairs was approved by the Mansfield City Schools Board of Education this week. $159,000 is being used for replace the HVAC system, which is the heating and cooling system. Another $116,000 will be used to install a new gym floor, which will replace the original floor, put in back in 1963.
