Ontario Considering Extending Ban on Medical Marijuana Facilities

Ontario City Council is considering continuing its ban on companies that grow, or distribute Medical Marijuana.  Ontario City Council last June passed an ordinance that will not allow any company that grows, or distributes Medical Marijuana to come into the city for the next 6 months.

RichlandSource.com reports the ban expired in late December and so council members have discussed extending the ban for another 6 months.   This is after a company approached the City of Ontario with the hopes of setting up a Medical Marijuana facility early last year.
