Ontario Council Talks about Golf Carts on City Streets

Ontario City Council has begun talks about off highway vehicles being allowed on city streets. RichlandSource.com reports, an Ontario resident approached city council on the matter because right now there is no legislation on the issue. The proposed legislation would allow golf cart type vehicles to be allowed in streets that are 35 MPH or under. If it passed by Council, the off highway vehicles would have to undergo an inspection by Ontario Police. There are 2 more readings on the proposed legislation, which should be voted on sometime in June.
