Highway Patrol Investigating Plane Crash at Lahm Airport

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a plane crash that occurred at Mansfield Lahm Airport at approximately 12:28 PM. The crash occurred when a 1980 Beech Model 58 planes landing gear failed to open. The pilot was able to successfully land the plane without incident despite the defective landing gear.

The plane was piloted by Robert Zook, 68, of Mansfield, OH. Mr. Zook did not suffer any injuries. Passengers Angela Phillips of Middletown, OH, Chad Deskins of Middletown, OH, Sydney Deskins of Middletown, OH and Ralph Deskins of Middletown, OH also did not report any injuries. 

Ohio Air National Guard Fire Department and EMS and Mansfield Police Department assisted on scene.
