Board Approves Request, Ohio Bars, Restaurants Alcohol Sales Stop At 10 PM

The Ohio Liquor Control Commission on Friday morning voted to approve the request from Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, who had proposed a new order that would stop the sale of alcohol at Ohio Bars and Restaurants at 10 pm. If a drink is purchased before 10 pm it must be consumed by 11 pm.

DeWine is expected to sign the order today and it will then go into effect statewide tonight ( Friday night).

Dewine says this is to limit gatherings and spread of COVID-19.
