The Richland Rural Life Center is a non-profit organization located at 969 E. Crall Rd., Madison area, will host its annual chicken dinner on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 4–6: pm. The dinner includes a chicken half, slow cooked over an open pit, buttered parsley potatoes or Au gratin potatoes, old fashioned slaw salad or applesauce, dinner roll, beverage and scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream.
Cost is $11 for adults and $6 for seniors and children 10 and under (quarter chicken meals). Ice cream will also be sold by the quart. Carry-out meals will be available and dine-in capacity will be limited due to social distancing requirements.
The Rural Life Center supports 4-H and Boy/Cub Scout troops. Proceeds from dinners and events help maintain the Rural Life Center land and facilities which are used by Boy Scout Troops and 4-H camp. For more information call 567-307-4220.
