  • Richland County has 8,281 confirmed positive pandemic cases with 2,736 probable cases for a total of 11,017 cumulative cases. There have been 598 hospitalizations with 18 current (per OHA). There have been 211 confirmed pandemic deaths. 10,399 people on the cumulative list have recovered. 10 variant cases of coronavirus have been detected.

Richland County residents should follow the recommended guidelines to reduce the spread of the pandemic:

  • Get COVID-19 Vaccinated from any Richland County provider
  • Wear a face covering (cloth mask) if you must be out in the public.
  • Must wear a face covering (cloth mask) when entering a retail business or grocery
  • Maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet from non-household members.
  • Follow good hygiene standards, including:
    • Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
    • Use hand sanitizer frequently.
    • Avoid touching your face.
    • Cover coughs or sneezes (e.g., into a tissue, or elbow).
  • Symptom self-evaluation monitoring.
  • Decrease in-person interactions with others.
  • Conduct a daily health/symptom self-evaluation and stay at home if symptomatic.
