The Shelby Whippets boys basketball team beat Madison Friday night in the season opener for both schools by a score of 78-60. Alex Bruskotter scored a game high 30 points to lead Shelby. Bruskotter had 18 of them in the 2nd half, as the Whippets were able to pull away in the 4th quarter. Marshall Shepherd had 16 points, while Andre Hill chipped in 14 for Shelby. Madison was led by Jaden Jeffries with scored 26 points and had a great all around game. (Aired 11/26/21)
