Garth Brooks is already adding more dates to his Las Vegas residency because of “extraordinary demand,” the country music giant announced on Thursday morning (December 1). Now, the Garth Brooks/Plus One Las Vegas Residency at Caesars Palace will extend through 2024.

“My whole life I have heard the saying, 'Rome wasn't built in a day,’” Brooks said in a statement on Thursday. “Well, thanks to God and the people, ours was. Truly grateful and unapologetically excited.”

Brooks shared plans for his residency in a surprise announcement when he appeared on Good Morning America last month. He also added during that conversation that he’s “hoping” that his wife, Trisha Yearwood, will “make some trips with us” as a special guest.

“It’s the Colosseum at Caesars…so it’s right in the heart of Vegas,” Brooks said at the time of his unique headlining residency. “We’re calling it the ‘plus one’ because we’re gonna try something we’ve never tried before. …The band is coming, but it’s the one-man show. They’re gonna sit in the audience. So, at any time you want a fiddle just to come up and join you, any time you just want percussion and background to come up and sing or it's just you — or just bring the whole band up to do ‘Friends in Low Places’ — this should be stupid.”
