What Do You Talk About At Holiday Gatherings?

     This holiday season, stretching back even to before Thanksgiving, I've gotten together with family a lot more than usual. I noticed that the older we get, the more we tend to talk about how we've been feeling. Without violating anyone's privacy let's just say colds, stomach flu, headaches and various other aches and pains have made the rounds around my family. One particular family member has had an exceptionally bad run of luck this year.  Two seperate incidents landed her in the hospital, one with a broken hip and another with a broken vertebrae in her neck.  Plenty to rehab from there, huh?  If she lived in our area, I'd have shared with her all I know about rehabbing at Kingston of Ashland.  I'm confident she's in good hands where she's at but it has me thinking again about the what if's.  I've spent more time recently on www.kingstonhealthcare.com, learning about the skilled nursing short term rehabilitation offered there,  than practically on any other website I was on when shopping for Christmas.  I guess I feel the need to be informed and prepared to choose a rehab or therapy provider if and when I need one.  I hope that those of you who have been reading these posts are taking time to think ahead, too.
