Plenty of teenagers – as well as plenty of adults – have worked or are currently working at fast food restaurants as burger flippers. For one, it's a great first job for millions of American teens and a rewarding career for many adults. I'm sorry to say their days might be numbered. TECH CRUNCH reports a company has invented a new burger-flipping robot. The robot – named Flippy – features a robotic arm with a hollow hockey puck at the end that scoops and flips burgers back onto the grill. Once the burgers are done, Flippy plates them. Fortunately we still need humans to finish the job by adding the toppings. Hey Mr. Roboto, can you do that? My job as king of the spatula at home is safe, for now.
