Mullingar, Ireland is known for its annual Christmas market, its abundant surrounding lakes and it’s lovely pewter.
But more recently it’s become famous for another reason: Niall Horan, who grew up there.
The small town may celebrate Niall’s achievements by naming a street after him. One of Mullingar’s city officials confirmed they’re considering it, adding:
"Niall is a very level headed young lad. He has never lost touch with his roots or the people from here. If we name a street after him, it couldn’t happen to a better man."
