The Real "Rosie" Dead at 96

Woman from iconic WWII poster passes away.

The real Rosie the Riveter has died. Naomi Parker Fraley is the woman who posed for the iconic poster representing the women who worked in factories and shipyards during World War II. Many of these women produced munitions and war supplies. These women sometimes took entirely new jobs replacing the male workers who joined the military.  Fraley was 96.
