Hollywood Star & Mansfield Native Luke Perry Dies Following Massive Stroke

Hollywood star Luke Perry, a Mansfield, Ohio native and Fredericktown High School graduate, has passed away at age 52. Perry died this morning at St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank, California surrounded by his family. The former co-star of the hit television series 90210 suffered a massive stroke last week at his California home, was hospitalized and placed in a medically induced coma but never recovered.

Perry had not been announced as part of the Beverly Hills 90210 reboot but had been filming scenes for Riverdale and Quentin Tarantino's upcoming Charles Manson bio-pic.
