Barkdull Scholarship Jam Fest

This year Richland Academy is excited to announce the continuation of our scholarship in memory of Dick Barkdull, a Shelby native, for his lifetime of dedication to promoting music opportunities for the youth in the area. This award is designed to help students who wish to participate in music programming at Richland Academy of the Arts before graduating High School.

The event will be held at The Vault Wine Bar in Shelby on Tuesday, June 4, from 6-10 pm.This year we will host the event in memory of long-time supporter and musician Randy Love, “Smitty.”Performers include band members from “Back to Earth,” Eric and Kurk Barkdull and many other local musicians. Keys to vault boxes will be available to purchase for $5.00 each and will give you a chance to win big.All proceeds from this event will go to the Barkdull Scholarship at Richland Academy.
