Craig Morgan Wows The Crowd At The Ashland County Fair

The stars aligned Tuesday night in Ashland for what turned out to be an amazing night of Country Music with Craig Morgan. The weather was perfect, the sound mix was just right and the crowd, nearly packing the house, was in a mood to have fun. Morgan shared his hits "That's What I Love About Sunday's", "A Little Bit Of Life", and "Redneck Yacht Club". His more poignant songs such as "Almost Home" and the new "The Father, My Son & The Holy Ghost" hit their emotional mark. The latter was written after the accidental drowning two summers ago of Morgan's teenage son Jerry. Morgan said God wrote that song. Morgan, who served our country for 17 years, ten-and-a-half on active duty in the U.S. Army's 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions, took time to address the veterans and active duty military, all branches, who were in attendance. He followed that salute with a new song titled "Soldier". Morgan performed another cut "The Simple Life" from his forthcoming new album on Broken Bow Records. It's one with lyrics that Country Music lovers can really relate to and should definitely make its way to Country Radio. Morgan's monster smash "International Harvester" brought the crowd to its feet and "Bonfire" made for a fitting encore on one hot night of music. Congrats to the Ashland County Fair on a great night!
