Family Life Counseling and Crossroads Community Church is hosting "Coping with Anxiety" on Saturday, October 19th, 2019.
This training will be held at Family Life Counseling/Crossroads Shelby - 169 Mansfield Ave, Shelby, OH 44875.
Registration begins at 9:30 AM and the training will be from 10 AM to 12:15 PM.
The purpose of this training is to look at many of the causes of anxiety and to help give practical solutions.
Anxiety can be overwhelming. It can take away our peace and joy. It can cause us to be so stuck in the past and unsure of the future that we can't live in the present. There is something about our way of life and the increase in technology that is making us all so anxious. The US is considered the most anxious nation in the world. Nearly 40 million Americans suffer from anxiety disorders. Traumatic events, the way we develop, and genetics can all lead some to suffer from an anxiety disorder. If you don't personally struggle with anxiety, you probably have friends or family that do.
This training is FREE and open to the public. Mental health counselors, drug and alcohol counselors, and social workers can get two free CEU's.
