Welcome to our Drawing Class. In this 3-day class you will learn the beginning points of how to draw. You will gain an understanding of drawing with both pencil and charcoal. Experimenting with the different types of lead and graphite, blending tools, paper surfaces and much more will open your drawing to choices you might not have known you have.
We will cover the fundamentals of drawing an animal with expression, fur and proportions. By learning these “basics ” of drawing, you will then be able to create an animal portrait. bring your own photo if you wish to make a portrait of your pet.
You will be given a SketchBook in your first class.
The class will consist of SketchBook assignments for students to take home, execute the assignments on their own, and bring them back for discussion and further growth-based feedback.
Instruction is individualized and student creations that they decide to share and go over for any adjustments that they need and want to make as well will allow instructor and art educator, Robin Shoup Wilson to teach in even more detail where improvement can take place.
