Kingwood Storybook Trail - The Thing About Spring

Kingwood Center Gardens is featuring a new book on the Storybook Trail for the Spring season. The Thing About Spring, written by best-selling Library Mouse author Daniel Kirk, follows Bear, Bird, and Mouse who have waited for Spring to come. Their friend Rabbit loves winter and does not share their excitement about the changing of the seasons. Rabbit learns from his friends the many things there are to love about Spring.

The Storybook Trail is open during garden hours, 10am – 7pm, and is located along the Nature Trail that begins at the Peacock Playhouse. April 5th is also Free First Monday at Kingwood. Admission is free for everyone on the first Monday of every month.

The Thing About Spring will be available for purchase in the Kingwood Garden & Gift Shop inside the new Garden Gateway visitor center. The Garden & Gift Shop and the Gateway Café will be open daily 10am – 6:30pm.

The Storybook Trail is a partnership with the Mansfield Richland County Public Library and was funded by the Keyser Library Fund and the George and Barbara Keyser Donor Advised Fund of Richland County Foundation.
