When it comes to scary movie villains, who scares you? If this were my list Hannibal Lector from "The Silence of the Lambs" would be king! psycho killers, in general, frighten me more than the slashers from "Halloween", "Nightmare On Elm Street" and "Friday The 13th". Give me a possessed individual like George Lutz (James Brolin) from "Amityville Horror" or Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) from "The Shining" for a real fright. That's not to say the afore mentioned "slasher" films have no entertainment value. You may see me in the theatre watching the latest sequel in the "Halloween" series :"Halloween Kills" (God bless Jamie Lee Curtis). I've been reading up on the sequels, figuring out the time line and forgiving the fact Michael Myers clearly cannot be killed. (Or can he?)

USA Today put together it's list of scariest movie villains in honor of "Chucky" Day this week. Here we go!

  1. Michael Myers (Halloween)
  2. Jason Voorhees (Friday The 13th)
  3. Freddy Krueger (Nightmare On Elm Street)
  4. Leatherface (Texas Chainsaw Massacre)
  5. Jigsaw (Saw)
  6. Pennywise (It)
  7. Chucky (Chucky)
  8. Pinhead (Hellraiser)
  9. Ghostface (Scream)
  10. Leprechaun (Leprechaun)
