When Is It O-k To Un-Decorate Your Tree?

There's always a conversation about when it's OK to start decorating for Christmas. We decided, since we were going with an all Cleveland Browns tree we'd get started before thanksgiving. (We were hoping it would bring some positive mojo to the team.) There's talk, as well, about the right time to take down all the festive stuff. According to a survey by Neighbor.com, most Americans think that January 2nd is the magic day. The survey found that 51% of people un-deck the halls that day. Other choices included:

  • New Year's Day: 20%
  • December 30th: 8%
  • December 26th: 8%

And 3% of those polled say they never bother de-Christmassing. There is a growing trend of year-round trees, which can be re-decorated for every holiday from Valentine's Day to July 4th.

We hope this positive Brown & Orange (and green) display will help guide our favorite team right into the Super Bowl which means it'll be on display in our living room until mid February!
