Lady A is getting ready to hit the road with Dave Barnes, and the beloved country trio shared their inspiration making their next tour a request line. Lady A took to social media with a throwback video to share “a little snippet” of their inspiration.

Dave (Haywood) and I, we grew up in Augusta, Georgia,” Charles Kelley told the crowd. “We grew up in cover bands. That’s all we did, before we started the band, we were in cover bands. He can play anything you want, just throw something out.”

Listening to audience members shouting out requests, Haywood, seated at a piano, began playing a hit song from a Disney movie that many people know and love. Kelley, however, was stumped at first. Hillary Scott — noting that Kelly has a son and she has three daughters — finally pointed out that Haywood was playing “Let It Go” from Frozen, the popular 2013 film starring Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, who originally sings the song. Haywood continued playing and Scott started on the chorus — that’s when the whole crowd erupted in a sing-along. Watch it here:

Lady A recently announced The Request Line Tour, saying on their social media channels that they’re “taking requests! No two shows will be the same…that’s for sure!” The band also said: “Give us a call at 615-882-1975 and tell us what you want to hear at one of our shows and we might just add it to our setlist! ☎️” See the tour dates here:
