Hot & Sweaty In Myrtle Beach, But Not The Sweatiest. Here's The Top 10!

You're probably thinking if we don't like the heat stay away from a beach town during July. You're right we have no business complaining. Kelly & I picked Myrtle Beach and we picked July. We felt we had a better chance of good weather this time of the year. The weather was spectacular yet it was, at times, VERY HOT & HUMID! One day the afternoon high was in the mid 90's with the "Feels Like" temperature at 107. On top of that, we planned to be outdoors most of the day. Talk about working up a sweat! Come to find out it could have been worse. Myrtle Beach did not even make the Top 10 sweatiest cities in the United States.

America's sweatiest cities ... July is the hottest month of the year, which also makes it the sweatiest month of the year. But when it comes to sweat, not all cities are created equal. Some are much sweatier than others. Dating advice website MyDatingAdviser.com gathered data, including humidity and population density, from the 200 largest metro areas in the country and ranked them in order of sweatiness. Here are the top 10 sweatiest cities in America:

  4. New Orleans, Louisiana
  5. Tallahassee, Florida
  6. Houston, Texas
  7. Montgomery, Alabama
  8. Cape Coral, Florida
  9. Laredo, Texas
  10. Jacksonville, Florida
