Some researchers at the University of Michigan discovered that eating certain foods can shorten your lifespan. For example, they also found that a portion of bacon costs you 26 minutes and every soda you chug shortens your life by about 12 minutes. Competitive hot dog eating champion Joey Chestnut, who has eaten 1,094 hot dogs, has shortened his life by 39,384 hours, or 27 days, based on this diet.
