The newest inductees into the Toy Hall of Fame are...yet to be announced. We'll find out November 10th when the announcement is made by the National Selection Advisory Committee. Fans get their say, too. Online Players Choice voters count collectively as one member of the committee. The Strong National Museum Of Play in all named 12 toys in all as nominees. Three will be chosen for induction.
I would vote for Spirograph, Lite-Brite and NERF, which I am very familiar with in all its forms: from foam balls to NERF footballs to foam-tipped projectiles. I've always thought it cool that toys such as a pinata or a spinning top were nominated because they are so simple and have seemingly been around forever. Items like bubbles, sidewalk chalk, the cardboard box and even the stick are all previous inductees.
