The Frontmen, a supergroup of former 80's and 90's country stars, have landed a major-label record deal. The band, featuring Larry Stewart of Restless Heart, Tim Rushlow of Little Texas and Richie McDonald of Lonestar, has signed to BMG/BBR Music Group. Originally a one-off collaboration to play for the troops, the band of veteran voices are recording new music - and will be playing CMA Fest June 11. - Source: Music Row
Imagine, if you will, sitting in the audience for a show featuring the greatest hits of Restless Heart ('I'll Still Be Loving You', 'Wheels', 'The Bluest Eyes In Texas', 'Why Does It Have To Be Wrong Or Right'), Little Texas ('God Blessed Texas', 'What Might Have Been', 'Amy's Back In Austin') and Lonestar ('I'm Already There', 'Walkin' in Memphis', 'Amazed', 'My Front Door Looking In') and sung by the voices that made them monster radio hits in the late 80's and 90's. A show like this would be perfect for the Renaissance Theatre or one of the larger local county fairs. Let's spread the word.
