Barbenheimer did even better than previously thought.

The one-two punch of Barbie and Oppenheimer blew away box office expectations over the weekend, breaking several records — but both movies made even more money than was estimated on Sunday. Barbie reportedly earned $155 million in its debut weekend, but on Monday it turned out to have made $162 million. Meanwhile, Oppenheimer jumped from $80.5 million to $82 million. Barbie had the biggest opening weekend of the year and the best debut for a female director.

Even Quentino Tarantino got swept up in the double-feature craze, seeing Oppenheimer over the weekend and then walking across the street to see Barbie.

Meanwhile movies such as the much anticipated DC film 'The Flash' and 'Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny' had weak opening weekends ($55M and $82M respectively) and were instantly labelled flops.
