Body Found In Woods At Mansfield North Lake Park, 30 Year Old Ashland Woman

The body discovered in the woods at North Lake Park has been identified, as a 30 year old woman from Ashland.

According to RichlandSource.com, Bob Ball, Richland County Coroner’s office chief investigator, said, the remains belong to Shealeah Lachelle Staley.  The woman has been missing since August 31st. Her mother filed a missing person’s report on October 2nd. Ball said, Foul play does not seem to be involved.

Mansfield Police discovered the human remains after making an arrest in an unrelated case at North Lake Park.

 According to RichlandSource.com, a body was found about a half mile into the woods on the north side of the lake on Sunday morning.

 Bob Ball, Richland County Coroner’s office chief investigator, said, the body was covered in leaves.

 A forensic team from Mercyhurst University in Pennsylvania arrived in town on Monday to help in the case.

An Ashland Police report said, her mother told authorities that her daughter suffers from bi-polar disorder.
