Mansfield Sr. drops to 0-3 for the 1st time since 2004, after loss vs VASJ

Mansfield Senior dropped to 0-3 for the 1st time since 2004, after a 60-0 loss on Friday at home vs Villa Angela St. Joseph (3-0).

The Vikings, led the RB Bo Jackson, who is committed to play for Ohio State, ran for 487 yards and piled up 537 total yards of offense.

Jackson ran for 197 yards on just 9 carries (21.88 per carry) and 3 TDs. TJ Moore found the end zone twice and rushed for 134 yards. Dom Bonner ran in two 4th quarter scores to give the Vikings 7 rushing TDs for the game. VASJ's offensive line was incredible, as the opened running lanes, which led to an average of over 11 yards per play.

Mansfield Senior was held to -16 yards of total offense and has not scored an offensive TD in the last two weeks. The Vikings had 25 first downs to only 2 for the TYgers.

The last time Mansfield Senior gave up 60+ points was 1959 in a loss to Massillon.
