Ten years ago, Brothers Osborne delivered a powerful breakthrough record that launched the Grammy-winning duo’s career.
Brothers Osborne, made up of John and TJ Osborne, announced on Thursday morning (January 15) that they’re celebrating Pawn Shop’s 2016 debut with the Pawn Shop (10 Year Anniversary Edition) next month. The upcoming release “honors the album that introduced the duo’s fearless sound and helped reshape modern country music,” a press release states. The original record “marked a defining moment for Brothers Osborne,” and “became a cornerstone of their career.”
Some of the tracks that appeared on Pawn Shop included the title track, “21 Summer,” “Stay A Little Longer,” “Rum,” “It Ain’t My Fault,” and more. The new edition will also include “Pins And Needles,” an unreleased song and a new recording from the duo’s Pawn Shop chapter. Before the full 10 Year Anniversary Edition arrives, Brothers Osborne released “Love The Lonely Out Of You (Live Pinebox Version).” The release notes that the newly-debuted track “strips the song down to its emotional core, highlighting the honesty and songwriting that first connected the duo with fans.”
The full Pawn Shop (10 Year Anniversary Edition) will make its debut on February 13. Listen to “Love The Lonely Out Of You (Live Pinebox Version)” here:
