On 3/10/26 at 0754 hours the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office investigated a two-vehicle crash that occurred at State Route 4, South of Orr Road.
Dustin Walker, age 41 of Newark Ohio was operating a 2023 black Honda Civic travelling Northbound on State Route 4 and William Steward, age 36 of Plymouth Ohio, was a 1995 Chevy Pickup Truck travelling Southbound on State Route 4.
Preliminary investigation indicates that one of the vehicles travelled left on center, causing a collision, as a result the Chevy went off the east side of the roadway where it came to rest in the ditch.
The Honda Civic went off the west side of the roadway where it then came to rest in the ditch. Walker and Steward were then transported to Bucyrus Hospital from injuries sustained in the crash.
Chatfield Fire, Lykens Fire, Life First EMS and Holmes Township Fire also responded to the scene. Lohrs Towing also removed both vehicles from the scene. This crash remains under investigation at this time.
